The master teacher for this important intensive is James Tripp, our Head of Acting, whom Stella Adler personally selected to teach Shakespeare. Teaching alongside Mr. Tripp is J. Steven White, one of the country’s leading stage combat instructors and Andrew Wade, former head of voice at the Royal Shakespeare Company. Offered in the summer only, this is a six-week, 30-hour per week

Admission Information
Admission to the Shakespeare Intensive is by interview and audition. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
Applicant must submit the following:

A completed application form
Headshot and Resume
A $35 non-refundable application fee (payable to Stella Adler Studio of Acting, Inc)

The audition should consist of two monologues, one classical and one contemporary, no longer than two minutes each. Phone Interviews and DVD Auditions are acceptable, if necessary. After the interview and audition have taken place, applicants will be formally notified phone regarding their acceptance in the program.
