The New York Times tells about some amazing work that took place at Adler in November! During the first week of the month, Mark Rylance gave a series of Master Classes in Improvisation to students at the Stella Adler Studio. Joined by his teachers Ben Benison and Roddy Maude-Roxby their was a focus on working with masks, saying “yes” and diving into unscripted play and spontaneous theater.
On Monday, November 8, 2010 Mark, Ben, Roddy along with Liza Sadovy, Sally Wingert, Mike Milligan (all of the Broadway cast of La Bete) gave patrons a special treat in a one-of-a-kind benefit that raised nearly $10,000 for the Studio – an evening of improvisation.
