The Stella Adler Center for the Arts was showcased in a CBS Mornings segment on Thursday, May 29th: The “Never Too Late” series features CBS hosts trying out new interests and experiences, to show it’s never too late to learn something new.
After being typecast as a news anchor in roles like “Jack Ryan” and “Smile 2,” Vladimir Duthiers wanted to dive deeper into the art of acting. After meeting with Stella Adler Studio faculty member Pete McElligott, Vlad participated in an acting class with some of our recent graduates, learning Stella Adler’s techniques for tapping into the power of the imagination. He then filmed a romantic comedy scene with our alumna, Chloe Fineman (Saturday Night Live, Summer of 69), with Pete on set coaching between takes.
