Movement

Billy Higgins is an international actor, director, devised theatre maker, physical theater, and circus artist. He has taught on the Movement faculty, primarily within the Arts Justice Division (formerly Outreach) at Stella Adler since 2017. International Credits: United States Cultural Ambassador for the Arts: Circus (Ashgabat), In The Sawtooths (Darin), The Wolves of Mibu (Kondo Isame) Off Broadway: Black Issues Issues (Scott Free), NY: Hot Mess (‘Lyza B*tch) Regional: Treasure Island (Israel Hands), Twelfth Night (Olivia). He has worked as a performer, fight choreographer, and movement designer with The Dell’Arte Company, The Samuel Beckett Center, The Turkmen State Circus, and Nimble Arts Circus, among others. Directing: The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged, The Duck Variations, Original Works: Hell To Pay (The Devil), Through The Seams (Wendell), Podiatryst (Agnes Sandalbath), Star Spangled Privateers (Immersive Storytelling) Dance: De-Throwned (Chor: Lisa Giobbi), Mad River (Chor: Laura Munoz). Billy is a proud member of the Broadway Advocacy Coalition’s Artist Impact Team, and volunteers with Clowns Without Borders.
