Chekhov Through Active Analysis

Evelyn specializes in teaching acting Chekhov through the Russian methodology, Analysis through Action.

Television credits include: The Crowded Room (Apple TV+), City on a Hill (Showtime), Evil (CBS), Prodigal Son (FOX). Film credits include the feature films: Audrey’s Children (2024 release), The 4:30 Movie, and The Sintern. Professional theater credits include: the world premier of Sarah Ruhl’s Scenes from Court Life and Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night (Yale Repertory Theater).

Evelyn attended Princeton University where she earned a BA degree in English with a focus in Slavic Studies in addition to a Theater Certificate. Immediately following Princeton, Evelyn attended Yale School of Drama, where she earned an MFA degree in acting and began her training as an acting teacher. She has also trained at BADA in Oxford, England and The Dome Studio in Beijing, China.
