Michael James Duran is a New York based actor, originally from Houston, Texas. Watching stand up specials as a kid (not many of them kid appropriate, looking at you Eddie Murphy), he fell in love with comedy and performing. He eventually stumbled his way into the theater and hasn’t let go since.
Moving to LA at 19 with $300 in his pocket, he very quickly moved back. But this led him to joining Stella Adler Studio to train in the Professional Conservatory, where he began to sharpen his skills, and fall deeper in love with storytelling, language, and yes, even Shakespeare.
Some of his roles include Edward in Consent (Stella Adler Studio), Ralph D in The MotherF**ker with the Hat (Chain Theater), Antipholus of Syracuse in Comedy of Errors (Stella Adler).
He enjoys running, late night snacks, playing guitar, and really bad horror movies.
