Sofia Capua is an Italian-Filipino NYC-based actor and mover. She has been performing since she was 10 in the Philippines. She ventured to New York City to attend New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. She spent the past three years training at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting.
Most recently, Sofia played Caliban in a production of The Tempest at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. She played the lead role in a feature film called Garden Variety Mystery. Sofia is an avid theatre attendant constantly scrounging for cheap tickets for the Met Opera or The Shed. You can spot Sofia working on headstands at yoga, sweating on the dance floor at Latin Ballroom, reading at the Washington Square dog park, or watching bagpipe night at the Irish pub across her apartment.
Sofia believes storytelling is a courageous act, she strives to bring bravery to everything she does.
