Preamble
Growth as an actor and growth as a human being are synonymous. The Stella Adler Studio of Acting is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the perpetuation of this insight, so elemental to the life, work and spirit of Stella Adler.

Mission
The Studio’s mission is to create an environment with the purpose of nurturing theatre artists who value humanity, their own and others, as their first and most precious priority while providing art and education to the greater community.

Private donations have an enormous impact on the Stella Adler Studio and its world class programming. Individual donors have helped to support the hundreds of students served by the Stella Adler Outreach Division, as well as elite scholarship students in professional training programs and in addition have enabled the Studio to bring artists like Angela Lansbury, John Patrick Shanley and Julianne Moore to the Studio for events that are free and open to the public.
