Dayle Towarnicky

Voice & Speech
Dayle teaches Voice, Speech, Accents, and Dialects at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and coaches 3rd and 4th year productions. She holds a MA with Distinction in Professional Voice Practice from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. She is a Certified Teacher of Knight-Thompson Speechwork and a Certified Practitioner of the Feldenkrais Method®.  Dayle has also previously taught with Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers, The Broadway Experience, and the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. In 2012, Dayle taught voice and text to the Brett Goldin Bursary Actors at the Royal Shakespeare Company. Dayle holds a BFA with Honors in Drama from NYU Tisch and did her studio training with The Stella Adler Studio of Acting, studying voice and speech with Alithea Phillips for three years. Dayle acted in Joan Evan’s original production of Decade at a Glance in the 2009 Harold Clurman Festival of the Arts. Proud member of the Voice and Speech Trainers Association (VASTA), the International Feldenkrais Federation (IFF), and the Feldenkrais Guild of North America (FGNA). She is currently completing a second MA in Linguistics at the CUNY Graduate Center, with a focus in phonetics, phonology, sociolinguistics, and language ideology. www.dayletowarnicky.com
