Niamh de Brún

Niamh de Brún is an Irish actor based in New York. She has been acting from a young age, performing in plays, musicals and concerts. After commencing her studies in Drama and Theatre at Trinity College Dublin and contemporaneously taking classes at Bow Street Film Academy, she moved to New York to train at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, where she deepened her knowledge and appreciation of the craft. Some of her most recent roles include Desdemona in Othello, Thea Elvsted in Hedda Gabler and Viola in Twelfth Night.

Niamh is also a singer, dancer and musician.

She has trained as a classical violinist and has played in venues such as the National Concert Hall, Dublin, and the Royal Albert Hall, London, as well as travelling around Europe with the Troy O’ Herlihy Irish Dancing group as a traditional fiddle player and singer.
